PUTO PAO
Friday, 6 October 2006 | By Mike | Category: Asian, Filipino / Pinoy, Glorious Food, Meat, Pinoy Food, Snacks
Yummy Puto Pao [puto and siopao in one] from NathanielS of San Fernando, Pampanga, with red salted egg topping and meat filling. So good I simply popped the other two whole pieces into my mouth after the first bite!

Thanks, Pafi Mark!

hi mike,
i also know of a place in bulacan where they have great puto pao (as well as regular puto). do you travel with a photographer? can you let me know when your next food trip will be so i can help document…if its ok with you
Hi Paul,
Thanks and I’d love to have the details of the puto supplier so that when we’re around the area we know where to go . . . Yes, we do bring along our own photographer with us whenever we go for press and fam trips - I’ll let you know as soon as a new fam trip comes along.
Oh wow! The putopao definitely looked gorgeous (and more delicioso, with salted egg, yummm!) than the bunch I made last week.
I loved this (and also cuapao, both of which I had a taste of from my bilas hailing from Laguna)! I definitely should try copying.
I love eating puto pao. I love the fusion of puto and siopao.
this is beginning to feel erotic
Stef, I just had some more of these a few days ago. And maski masakit lalamunan ko sige pa din ako sa pag-lamon. Sarap eh!
Gi, Yuuummmm!!!
Rach, Yes, a great fusion of two of my favourites!
