THE CULPRIT
Monday, 4 September 2006 | By Mike | Category: Cocktails, GeneralCes, blame my LP12 entry photo-blooper on this . . .
It was really sweltering here in Manila last week. So hot you’d think it was still summer.
Reesa G, a friend of the ‘orphans’ who just arrived from the U.S. and Austria, dragged me to the Manila Polo Club’s Sports Lounge one hot afternoon for a chat and some drinks. When we couldn’t decide what to order, we asked one of the staff - Jeff, if he could recommend something else instead. He said he could make us fresh calamansi margaritas.

So far this is the best margarita I’ve ever had in the whole of Manila and we were instantly addicted. For almost a week now, Reesa and I have been driving to the Polo Club every afternoon for rounds of their refreshing calamansi margaritas.
:-)

oh i would looo-ooove to have one of those now! i will make it nalang maybe tonight..it’s your inaanak’s birthday!!!
Hi Ces,
It is sooo good and sooo refreshing that we have it every afternoon na! And the group has grown. Patawa nga kami kasi para kaming mga hayok na alcoholics everytime we order this margarita - nakaka-dalawang rounds kami at a time! Just like tonight . . . medyo tipsy na naman ako! Teeheee! Happy birthday to my inaanak Sam! Tip if you’re gonna make this one and want to seetwn it a bit - use a bit of honey instead of sugar. Cheers!
