This morning, I noticed a new incoming link in my blog’s admin panel. Following the link to Iskandals, I found out that I’ve been tagged once again by Iska who is currently “on holiday†(‘holiday’ nga ba? hehehe!) in
Iska has tagged me several times in the past but as far as I can remember, I’ve only reciprocated to a couple of memes she tagged me for . . . In fact, I still have a pending contribution to her sardines meme.
This new tag / meme is kinda interesting as it calls for bloggers to show off their personalities to their readers (including fellow bloggers) through their computers’ desktop themes. This will show the world how organized (or disorganized) lot we are – bloggers! Tee hee!
After reading Iska’s post, I immediately did a screen cap of my desktop. Here it is . . .

Why bananas? Simple. The banana is my favourite fruit and I go bananas over any food or food-related stuff that has bananas. In fact, my blog’s header image has a bunch of bananas which I adapted recently after a few changes to my blog’s theme. I was so enamoured with the image that I decided to use it as the icon for my website’s frontpage, too! The colours of the image also reflect some of my current favourites.
Unlike most pc’s, my desktop is free from icons. I never really liked staring at a cluttered desktop (my OC-ness . . . tee hee!) so I moved all application shortcuts to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
I also use a personalized ‘marquee’ screensaver. This has nothing to do with the current ‘BACK OFF!’ issue here in the country. Tee hee! I’ve had this marquee long before the media got hand of the controversial encounter. I had to change to this text as the previous one was kinda offensive to the kids here at home. :-)

For this meme, I am now tagging Karen (time to relax!), Celia, Toni, Mae, and Catsudon . . . :-) Please read instructions below on how to proceed and join this tagging game . . .
My Desktop Free View Instruction
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by:
[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).
[3] If you wish, you can “edit†the image, before saving it.
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.
