		<description>Hi, wandered into this page and thought I should let you know about the plans of Slowfood Manila Convivium, organized by Doreen Fernandez before she died.  Please check www.slowfood.com for what it stands for and if you&#039;re interested, we have an upcoming food trip this March 16 to  Lipa City.   In the tradition of slowfood, this will feature Batangas dishes with a twist.  (read Sinaing na tulingan fried in olive oil and topped with burong paho)  Call it Lipa Fusion.  If interested, please email ipatluna@pusod.org.  Convivium leader is Mara Pardo de Tavera who took Italy by storm with Kalinga rice last October at the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre.</description>
